Creating Your Account

Getting started with CS2.TEAM is quick and easy. We use Steam authentication so you don't need to create a new password.

Sign Up with Steam

1. Click the Login with Steam button on the homepage
2. You'll be redirected to Steam's secure login page
3. Enter your Steam credentials (we never see your password)
4. Authorize CS2.TEAM to access your basic Steam info
5. You're in! Your account is created automatically

What We Access from Steam

When you sign up, we only access:

• Your Steam display name
• Your profile picture
• Your CS2 game statistics (hours played, rank, etc.)

We never access your password, email, or payment information from Steam.

After Signing Up

Once your account is created, you should:

1. Complete your profile - Add your preferences, availability, and bio
2. Link Discord - Connect your Discord account for easy communication
3. Start browsing - Find players or teams that match your playstyle

Troubleshooting

"Steam login failed"

• Make sure you're logged into Steam in your browser
• Try clearing your browser cookies and attempting again
• Check that your Steam account is in good standing

"Profile not loading"

• Your CS2 stats may take a few minutes to sync
• Make sure your Steam profile is set to public
• Try refreshing the page after a minute
