Setting Up Your Profile
A complete profile helps other players find you and understand if you're a good fit for their team.
Accessing Your Profile
- Log in to CS2.TEAM
- Click on your avatar in the top right
- Select Profile from the dropdown
Profile Information
Basic Info
- Display Name - Automatically pulled from Steam, but you can customize it
- Bio - Write a short description about yourself and what you're looking for
- Country - Select your location for regional matching
Gaming Preferences
- Rank - Your CS2 competitive rank (synced from Steam)
- Playstyle - Are you casual, competitive, or professional?
- Roles - What positions do you prefer? (Entry fragger, AWPer, Support, etc.)
- Languages - What languages can you communicate in?
Availability
Let others know when you typically play:
- Weekdays - Morning, afternoon, evening, or night
- Weekends - Your weekend availability
- Timezone - Important for scheduling with teammates
Connecting Discord
Linking your Discord makes it easy to communicate with potential teammates:
- Go to your profile settings
- Click Connect Discord
- Authorize the connection
- Your Discord tag will appear on your profile
Profile Visibility
Control who can see your profile:
- Public - Anyone can find and view your profile
- Hidden - Your profile won't appear in search results
Tips for a Great Profile
- Be specific - "Looking for competitive teammates for Premier" is better than "LFG"
- Be honest about your rank - Misrepresenting your skill leads to bad experiences
- Keep it updated - Update your availability if your schedule changes
- Add a bio - Profiles with bios get more attention
